Frequently asked questions.
Does Microblading hurt?
The first pass of Microblading (out of two), is done without any numbing. This technique prioritizes crispy results by not compromising the skin texture.
Because pain is so subjective, clients tend to report differing responses. Some describe it as a kitten scratch, or the feeling of getting threading done.
It’s common to see physical responses such as sneezing and eye watering. At any point, feel free to request a quick break or a tissue!
With the top quality numbing anesthesia I use, you will not feel a thing for the second pass of Microblading.
The sound of the procedure can get people more uneasy than what they’re feeling. It sounds like a small Velcro scratch, but can he drowned out with headphones or music.
How long does the appointment take?
Microblading on its own typically takes no more than 1.5 hours. Appointments are booked for longer to ensure there is no rush and your brows are given all the time needed for perfection!
What should I expect after the procedure?
No down time is needed after your brows get microbladed. While everyone’s skin responds differently, here are some possible side effects as your brows heal:
Redness
Swelling
Scabbing (Don’t pick at it!)
Darkened pigment
This is all normal, and nothing to worry about.
As your brows heal, the color will lighten 30-40%. It will take about 1 month for the color to fully set in.
For optimized results, follow after-care instructions that will be provided for you.
